How to make ressies

Hi everyone! We are suppose to close on our OKW resale this Wednesday!! We will be in Disney 1 week later (on rented points). While there, we will be adding on at either WLV or VB. The # of points we add on will only be enough for 5 nights in a 2 bdr at VWL. Here is the question. Say we call MS at 11 months and reserve the 5 nights. We also have the 11 month window at OKW where we have plenty of points for a 2 bdr. Can we reserve a full week at OKW and then at 7 months check VWL to see if we can add on our two nights. If it was available, we would cancel OKW. If it wasn't, we would cancel VWL and spend the week at OKW. Does this make any sense?? Will MS allow us to have two ressies at two different resorts knowing we will cancel one? As long as the points are available, I am assuming it would be okay. Sorry this is so long. I want to make sure this will work or we will buy at VB. Our intent is to stay in different DVC properties once a year and do VB each year or every other year. We do not want to switch resorts during our stay. Thanks so much for any help you can give me!

As long as you have the points to make both ressies, you will be able to do so. Note, that because of the weekday/weekend point differential, you will probably not have trouble picking up two weekend days to add on to five weekday days at VWL. The reason is that many avoid reserving weekend days and those tend to be the easiest to get within the 7 month window.w
