How to make requests online?

I have booked my first two DVC stays and would like to make requests for the building I get put in but I couldn't find an area online to do that. I am going to try to contact member services to get them to do it but was hoping that someone could guide me on how to do it online. I see that it is possible to do some limited selections during online check in but I would rather be more specific

For something more specific, you need to contact MS by phone, chat or use the contact us (email) option from the member website and have your request noted on the reservation.
 
Using the email (contact us) method has worked perfectly for me the last few times I've tried it. It's unfortunate, but there seems to be no means for us to verify that what we've requested actually got put in - I've been known to call a month or two later to doublecheck because I've forgotten whether or not I made the request!

Don't you get a reply from MS when they add the request to the reservation?

In case you are still looking:

Sign on to the site. On the Welcome Home Page, click on "Help & Contact" in the upper right hand corner. On the next page (called "Help & Contact"), click on the envelope icon under "Contact Us" on the right side. That will give you the email page. Be specific in the message section and make sure you include Travel Plan # for your trip if the request relates to a trip. Also, you mention two different reservations at different times. Would advise that you send separate emails on them for any requests you want. After sending the email, you will get a computer generated, form response that acknowledges receipt of email and that they will get back to you in approximately 5 days. These days it has often taken a week but you will eventually receive another email confirming that the requests you made are incldued with your reservation.
 
Bill - I get a form reply that says "hi, we got your request and will do our best yadda yadda yadda." Nowhere does it actually state *what* the request was, so after a few months my brain says "do they really have it?" and "what they heck did I ask for, anyways?" :rotfl:

eta: if I do get a response, as PP states should happen (I don't see it in my old emails, but maybe I didn't keep them? no way to know), I'm 100% convinced that the message doesn't say just what I requested. ('cause, if it did, I'd definitely keep it! not to mention remember it! this has been one of my personal peeves for the last few years.)
 
thanks all, I will e-mail. I tried to call cut didn't want to wait 30 minutes on hold. I will likely have to anyway though because for some reason I can't get it to add the dining plan to my first reservation it keeps giving an error
