I just made my first tutu this weekend for my daughter- she is only 3 months old, so I got 3 yards of tulle, and then folded it in half twice to get a shorter length. It worked out great- here are a couple photos of her from today:

I saw a gorgeous tutu on Etsy, so I'm striving to make one as pretty!! It's a fairly inexpensive addiction, so now I'll have something to do during my three week vaca.
