I received a $75 amazon gc from my boss for Christmas. I am VERY GRATEFUL, but there is nothing I "want" on amazon. I do have a Kindle, but already have several books downloaded that I haven't had time to read.

I would like to see if any of you have ideas for how this can benefit my upcoming Disney trip in May. I would love some suggestions!

ETA: This is an electronic gift card, so the likelihood of me being able to sell it are very slim.

I don't see a problem with selling an electronic gift card. You just need to give the buyer the number.

Amazon sells just about everything besides books - food, clothes, toiletries, games, sundries, luggage, shoes, etc. Seems as if you could find something you want.

There are clothes, accessories, snacks, backpacks, disney items, shoes, socks, etc.

I buy groceries, toiletries, personal care items, OTC meds and so much more on amazon. Take a look around. If you can't find things like shirts, shoes, toys, etc for Disney then buy stuff you'd otherwise buy at a grocery store and pharmacy and take the money you would have spent on those items at your local store and buy the stuff you want for your trip.

i agree with most!

travel toiletries, luggage, meds, disney clothes, random household stuff you need before the trip, then pocket the cash you would have used otherwise.

use it for easter baskets, or valentines day gifts.

Will you need new shoes?

Will you children need clothes/swim suits for the trip?

What about some cool Disney T's for the family?

How about some cool light up toys so you don't have to buy them down there?

You can order food/water to have shipped to your room for you trip.

How about music players for your kids to make the trip easier? (my kids use music players to help fall asleep in a hotel, that way dh and I don't have to be so quiet)

I would hold on to it and then when you think of something you need, you can look on Amazon first before heading to the mall.

I wouldn't limit your usage to just disney trip. Amazon sells all kinds of basic necessity stuff. Paper towels, TP, peanut butter, beauty stuff (soaps, lotions), etc..
If you want to use it as a disney trip budget I suggest you "tranfer" $ from your grocery budget to your Disney trip budget. And use the amazon gc to get some basic grocery items.
I see you have a 3yo. If you still need some pullups you can get those too from them.

Or you can turn it into other gift cars, applebees, target, itunes, etc. but you'll have to pay shipping for them.

Great ideas about buying stuff and then keeping the cash that I would've spent. DH is insistent that I get something for myself--but what I would REALLY like to have is a Disney gift card to buy something on our trip. I will take the cash and buy a Disney gc. Thanks guys!
