How to handle our stroller dilemma

We will be in DLR with twin babies and two older children, one of which will need to rest in a stroller in the afternoon.
I assume that the lockers are not big enough for a stroller; and the walk back to our hotel to get the stroller would be too long. So we are forced to push an empty stroller around for part of the day.
Has anyone else done this? Are we going to get critical looks?

Ummm, most of the strollers in DL are empty half the day. If people give you looks about your stroller, they clearly don't deserve to be in the Happiest Place on Earth. lol

You just push it, park it, go get it and move it to where you are going next... no biggie... and it is sooooo much walking I'll bet it isn't going to be as empty as you think! :thumbsup2

I can't imagine returning to get the stroller. I wouldn't think twice pushing it around. If nothing else - it can be a great holder for all your stuff!

When my DD was little, we had the Disney Visa where the perk at time was a free stroller rental. We love the park strollers. However, we always were staying across the street and no one wanted to carry her back to the hotel!

Our solution was this. We brought a cheep umbrella stroller, and we parked it by a ride near Main Street, usually by Astro Orbiters or by the MS Train Station. I know people have reported thefts before, but the cheap umbrella stroller? In all our trips, no one ever touched it. It may have been moved slightly, but it was always there at the end of the day. Plus, it was a cheap one, so if it did get stolen, we wouldn't have worried about it.

Just a thought.

Our experience with strollers is with one childprincess: and what we found was that we parked the stroller (remember what land/where! lol) and when we needed it we just hopped on the train or DH or myself went back for it when the others went on a ride. If you are like us we spent most of our time in toontown and fantasylandpixiedust: so you never had far to go for the stroller. When we left the area we were using the stroller AFTER we got out of main street DLR! Before then was YIKES :scared1:to use a stroller. :confused3Easy enough to grab and go! Good luck!

PS/ No one is going to glare at you and your kids with stroller...you are in DLR:cloud9:...there are STROLLERS everywhere...including stroller parking!

Thank you so much for your kind responses. I feel better now about pushing an empty stroller; and I agree it probably will be used more than I think.

I wouldn't worry about pushing around an empty stroller, but if it is going to be a hassle and the babies aren't that big, you could always bring a sling and carry one of them around like that too.

We use our sling a whole lot when we are at DL as it is much more convenient than putting the baby back into the stroller only to have to pick him back up five minute later.
