I've owned DVC for 5 years now and DH and I normally stay in studios and take trips 2-3 times per year. We're currently expecting and we thought about booking a 1 bedroom for our next trip with baby who will be about 3 months. We figured this way we could relax in the living room when we come back to the room early and baby is sleeping.
The thing I can't get over is the increase in points from a studio to a 1 bedroom!
It's nearly double!
So my question is, for those who started out staying in studios how did you make the transition to a 1 bedroom without crying and feeling a bit ripped off?

You will never want to go back to a studio again. We made the mistake of taking our first trip home, and staying in a 1BR..as we had 'extra' points to use up. WDW hasnt been the same for us since.
We tried going back to a studio, several times. We would even split trips between studios and 1BR, to make it work. Last year...we finally did an ADD ON, and doubled our points. Now we will ALWAYS stay in a 1BR. We had more 'extra' points to use by by November this year....so, we booked a 2BR for the 3 of us this September. I hope we don't have a repeat of this 'situation.! 


. It's also wonderful to lounge around the living room & have coffee in the morning while the kids have breakfast at the big table. Honestly we realize now that having
