We live in Southern NJ and like to make a trip to the world of Disney in NY. How do you recommend we get there? If we drive where do we park as I haven't found any info on it and don't want to drive there and search for a parking spot blindly. Don't want to spend a fortune getting to the store to spend a fortune. :goodvibes

Yes that Disney Store in Times Square. I thought it was called the World of Disney still but just moved to that new location.

No, its a Disney Store. It has some cute things like a big screen where you can watch disney songs (and they can put birthday announcements). But no Disney Parks stuff, no character meet and greets. I miss that World of Disney store.

It really is just a Disney Store. It does have some NYC-specific items that are fun, but otherwise it is just a slightly nicer and slightly bigger Disney store than others, in our opinion. As far as parking, it is right on Times Square, so just look into any Times Square parking. I don't live there (and can't remember specifically where I have parked when visiting) so can't be of much help in the parking department. Usually I just end up finding a street spot nearby actually.

Not sure where in south Jersey you live. I live in Ocean County and find taking the bus is much better than driving.

Another option taking the train into the city from NJ. It's a doable walk from Penn Station, or you can take the subway to Times square without exiting Penn Station.

Like others have said, it's nice (least scary bathroom in times square, imo) but not really worth a whole trip to NYC.

You can park at the Port Authority, which is on your right as you exit the tunnel. Very easy, but I agree with others that it's just another Disney store.

You are likely better off taking the train or driving to a closer NJT station as parking is free on weekends and after 10 or 11 on weekdays.
Parking in NY is not cheap although I can not give you rates but to be here for the day be prepared to spend 50.00 or more... there are lots on many of the streets between 6ave and 8ave on the majority of the blocks from 35st to 41st streets will not suggest any lot but the closest I would go is to 38th on the right side just past 7th ave .... there are also closer lots. On Sundays you can park on these streets and many others for free... get here early to get a spot... but be prepared to PAY.
as others have said it is really just an oversized Disney store... But Toys R us Much nicer than the average... M&M store Hershey store are all in that area as well.
