Traveling with a friend. She wants to wait and buy her tickets there. She is afraid she will buy the wrong kind of ticket Florida resident(2 day one park) and wants me to be with her when she purchases. We are staying offsite. She will be renting a scooter in the parks. Just wondering if we can purchase her ticket at a good neighbor hotel. I know we can wait until we get to the park but dont wish to wait in line since we will need to rent a scooter before they are gone.

Which offsite hotel? The WDW “good neighbor” resorts do not sell tickets or have any other particular Disney perks. The WDW “Disney Springs area resorts” do have a ticket counter onsite and also qualify for Early Theme Park Entry.

contacted Disney. They said some of the Springs Resorts have ticket counters but wouldnt provide names. Does anybody know? I figure I can get her into a lobby to purchase them.

Holiday Inn Disney Springs is one of the hotels that has a ticket counter.

Double check hours the ticket office is open and how much you'll have to pay, if anything for parking.

Can FL residents buy tickets online? Upload documentation? Show ID at the gate?

Any other places to purchase tickets outside of park in person? Apparently Resort ticket counters are for guests only.

I don't think hotels validate parking for gift shop or ticket purchases. I'm pretty sure anyone can buy Disney tickets at Swan and Dolphin.

AAA office might sell tickets, probably only to members.

I have no idea if the 2 park FL resident ticket is available.

Have you tried online?

You're overthinking this. Get to the park early. Don't the ticket offices open earlier then you can enter the parks to attempt to rent a ECV.

As I noted above, the "Disney Springs Area Hotels" have a ticket counter.

Depends on where you are staying and actually what kind of hotel they are.

Good Neighbor Hotels do not get perks like EE etc but they do have a list of requirements of what they have to provide. Ticket purchase at hotel is one of them ~ but we have found those "counters" often have very limited hours. Perhaps the front desk takes over when the ticket counter is gone.

  • All hotels allow you to purchase your theme park tickets on-site, in the lobby, at the front desk or at the Guest Services desk.

The Disney Springs Hotels are called "Official Walt Disney World Hotels" and every one I've been in has had a ticket counter, but again, not always someone working them.

  • Guests can purchase theme park tickets, including the 4-Park Magic Ticket, which includes admission to each of the four Walt Disney World® theme parks. Additional terms may apply.

Thanks for that correction!

What about the Official Ticket Center in DS? Just across the walkway from the DS GR office.
This is from the DS website https://www.disneysprings.com/guest-services/

Disney Ticket Center

Located in Town Center near the Disney Springs Welcome Center, D-Luxe Burger and Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza, the Disney Ticket Center is fully equipped to provide Guest assistance with the following:

  • Theme park ticket sales, upgrades and will calls (including special events)
  • Annual pass sales and renewals
  • Military salute ticket sales and upgrades
Hours:
  • Sunday to Thursday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM
  • Friday and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:30 PM
Edited to add - Sorry, I forgot that wasn’t an option due to lack of a scooter at DS.
