How to get to WCC for 730am ADR?

We're staying at POFQ and have a 730 ADR for WCC and no car. When I made the ADR dining told me I could take a 'air conditioned motor coach shuttle'. Ok, this is NOT my first trip, it's in fact my 7th or 8th but we've always had our car before and I have always been under the impression that there isn't resort to resort buses. Have things changed? How would one get from POFQ to WCC?

We also have a 730 am ADR for Kona at the Poly but for that I just figured we'd take a bus to the TTC and walk.

That AC motor coach is in reality, a bus. I would take the bus to the MK, then boat over to the WL. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

For the Polly, I would bus to the MK, then Monorail or boat over. pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

Buses don't go from the resorts to the TCC. The closest resort bus would take you to the MK. If you got the very first bus (like be at the stop at 6:30 so you don't miss it) you could take the monorail to the Contemporary and then the boat to WL (I believe it begins running at 7:00) and the monorail to the Poly and make both breakfasts. I wouldn't want to worry so much about transportation so early in the morning so I would either change the ADRs to a little later or take a taxi. A taxi should be around $12 to $15 I'd guess

We stayed at the POFQ a couple of weeks ago with ADR's at WCC. We took the boat ride from POFQ to Downtown Disney and took the bus to Wilderness Lodge from there. After dinner we took the bus back Downtown and took the boat ride back but you could pick up the Port Orleans bus also. Taking the boat ride was a change from the bus. Enjoy.

The boat ride to DTD is beautiful. But the OP wants to get to the WL and the Poly for early morning ADRS (7:30AM) and the boat doesn't start running until late morning. The buses won't run to and from DTD that early either

This would be the way to go. The boat starts running at 6:45AM. The resort monorail starts running at 7AM.

BTW, when you get on the bus at your resort, tell the driver you need to get to the CR. He may be able to drop you off there (save some walking). There has been at least one DISer saying that the bus driver actually dropped them off at the WL. I believe they were the only ones on the bus. So, you could get lucky also.

Are the boat times seasonal? (or on someone's whim? lol) When we were there in Dec 05 staying at FW the boats to the Contemporary didn't start running until 7 and the boats to MK didn't start running until 730. This was per the boat hand when they picked up a couple of passengers for the Contemporary while us and about 6 other families waited for the MK boat for our pre park ADRs. So we all hopped on the CR boat when it came back and either monorailed or walked to MK an made it _barely_ on time.

We've never gotten wrong info from someone who actually works transportation, well except the one trainee who was looking at her map while driving around inside FW but that's understandable, it was her first night. Since the WCC ADR is on our second morning and Kona our last I'll ask a bus driver the night before to clarify.

Can't they just take the MK boat to WL? (I don't know when things start running...)

The WL/MK boat starts running later then the Cont/WL boat. I don't think it runs until 7:30 but I'm not positive. If it were running that would be a good way to go provided it didn't go to FW first.

Considering the early hour, I personally wouldn't want to deal with the bus-boat scenario. I think taking a cab directly to the WL is worth the added expense.

When I said the boats started at 6:45AM, they leave from the CR and WL at that time. By the time the boat gets to FW, it would be about 7AM.
