How to get to Trails End Buffet

We have decided to drive to Florida this year instead of fly so we will have a car this stay. We are staying at All Star Movies and want to go eat at Trails End Buffet. We've been there one other time a took every mode of transportation (felt like) to get there and it took forever! This time we were thinking of taking the car and driving there ourselves. Is it possible? And how do we get there; do we at some point have take disney transportation? We are going end of September 2020 if that makes any difference.

You can drive to the Outpost but will then have to take the Fort’s internal bus transportation to the Settlement where Trails End is. There is no car parking at the Settlement. All the internal buses will go to the Settlement so you can hop on the first one that shows up.

I agree with the post above, you have 2 other options though. You can take the boat from MK to FW and then it's a short walk to Trail's End. Pretty sure you can also take the Minnie Van and it would take you right to TE.

Yep. MinnieVan can drive directly to Trail's End. $15 plus $2.75 per mile/part of mile. Plus tip. The two PP's have provide the two best free methods.

If your plans are to be at MK that day, the ferry to Ft Wilderness, would be the most direct route. Depending on the internal bus you take, it could make stops at the loops, before reaching Trails End. The Minnie can now charges $15 flat fee, plus $2.75 per mile fee, and then tip (just so you know).

It’s been a while OP... but I don’t recall the car parking lot , getting on the internal bus and then arriving, being like more than 8-10 minutes.. I don’t ever recall the bus doing loop stops though. Perhaps it’s changed.
