How to get to MK on ferry when staying on property?

I'd like my kids first view of MK to be from the ferry. I remember how magical it was for me to see the castle in the distance from the ferry. We are staying on site and plan on using buses. My question is, is there a way to have the bus drop you off at the TTC to continue on to MK on the ferry?

Have a great trip.

1. Take an Uber to TTC. (Tell the driver you want to go to the "MK drop-off area.")
2. No. (No regular Disney buses go to/from TTC, anymore.)

Another even more convoluted (but free) route would be to take a bus to Epcot, then ride the monorail to TTC.
Then, exit the monorail and go down and board an MK ferry.

Alternative to Robo's excellent suggestion above: Take your resort bus to Epcot, then get on the monorail to the TTC. Once at the TTC, its a short walk from the monorail platform to the ferry landing.

That solution is in my first reply.
(So, I agree that it is one possible route.)

Well...I guess we've got that covered. ;)

1) Take the bus to HS
2) Take the ferry to Epcot
3) walk from the international gateway to the Epcot main entrance
4) Take the monorail to the TTC
5) walk to the MK Ferry
6) Get on MK Ferry
7) See castle

This method allows you to enjoy double the ferry rides!

No it would only allow for one ferry ride. It is a friendship boat between HS and Epcot. Friendship boats are small and enclosed. The ferry is a large two story boat moving over 500 people.

Depending on where you're staying if it's easy to get a bus to Poly (either from DS or a park) you could do that and then walk over to the MK Ferry at the TTC. Pick up a Dole Whip along the way. :goodvibes

Sadly, from many/most resorts, it is not particularly "easy" to get to the Poly.
There are often not very many buses FROM the other parks that are actually heading TO the Poly.
(That would be especially true during a time of day when they would be selling Dole Whips.)

I will say that during early morning hours (before 9AM, or so) it might be possible to ask and have the driver of the MK bus from most resorts drop guests at the Poly...
but that may be AFTER that bus stops at the MK gates, so the "first sight of MK from the Ferry" (the point of this exercise) would be lost using this method.

Very true, which is why I qualified with a depending on where staying. From someplace like SSR/OKW/POR with boats to DS you could do that and then take the resort bus to Poly. Time of day does make a difference also. Anyway, it's just a note that it's an easy walk from Poly over to the MK ferry too.

Do you have a car? Drive to TTC and take the ferry.

No car? Bus to Epcot, monorail to TTC, take the ferry.

This is a strange thread!

Yes, and it wasn't all that fast-moving, so I'm not sure why the confusion. . . however, I WILL say that I am always extremely curious what your "Have a Great Trip" posts are. . . a mis-post that you can't delete?
