how to get to DTD from HOJO

So I am staying at HOJO with my 8 year old next week. We will get there in the afternoon and are just going to go to DTD and swim. I got to thinking, as I haven't been there since 1984, can I walk through the middle of the two parks to get there or do I have to walk around?

you have to walk through the esplanade which will mean going through security. Walking around is way out of the way.

Did you know HOJO has a pretty nice water playground?

Walk south on Harbor,cross at the light,go between DL and DCA and there you are.

Yep, thats the water we are playing in that night. But I have to trade my paper ticket in for real tickets and we want to get dinner at DTD.

I didn't get my tickets from Disney.com but from Arestravel.com. I am pretty sure I have to take them to a ticket window. Right?
