How to get there??

Hi All,

First time at WDW - arriving 04/18! We have an ADR at CM at 8:40am and are staying at ASMu. What is the best way to get there? We have a rental car, but is taking Disney transportation better? I've heard it's more difficult to get from one resort to another. We are spending the day at MK, but not sure if we should drive and park at MK, or park at the resort and then go to MK from there, or take the bus???? Any help...?

Take the bus to MK and it is a short 10-15min walk over to CR for your meal. You'll drive past the resort going to MK. It is really up to you!

Take the bus. You won't be allowed to park at the resort and then head to MK for the day. It's an easy walk from the MK bus stop to the Contemporary.

You have two options really...drive yourself, park at the TTC and take the resort monorail to CR for breakfast. I would plan on leaving your resort no later than 8 to get to CMs for 8:40. The monorail itself will take about 20 mins.
Or...take the MK from your resort, then walk from the bus area over to CR. The walk takes about 10 mins tops. When you get off the bus, head to the MK entrance area, but go right instead of left. You want to follow the monorail line that runs overhead. The sidewalk is to the right and very visible. Follow it to the CR and then up to CMs. Be out at the MK bus stop by 7:45.
