How to get from my hotel to the airport

Hi! I'm currently scheduled to take the ME back from our hotel but I don't want to leave 3+ hrs for the airport. Last year I spent 2 hrs just sitting there in the airport. What are my other options and what is the cheapest way to get to the airport?

Pay for a ride. Towncar, Taxi or rent a car. Towncar will cost you about $60 or so one way, but they will still get you there at least 1.5 hours in advance of your flight. With tighter security, the time can be needed at MCO.

We were picked up 3 hours in advance and didn't feel like we had too much time at the airport, but then again, I really like airports, so the time wouldn't bother me.
