How to get from MCO to Swan?

We just booked our flight for July and we are staying at the Swan. Can we use Magical Express? We didn't book any of our trip through Disney. If not, what is the best way to get there? There will be me, dh and our 15mth old. TIA!

You cannot use Magical Express. The Swan and Dolphin, Shades of Green, and the Hotel Plaza properties are not part of Magical Express.

So the usual, current options apply -- Mears coach/van service, towncar service, cab, or car rental.

Thanks! So what is the best way to get there? We used Mears the last time and had no problems. We left right away. Went to only Disney resorts. So good experience. Now I'm a little scared after reading other posts. So what is a reliable way to get there that won't cost a fortune? Our plane arrives at like 8:15 a.m.

Mears might be a problem. Normally they group S/D with the EPCOT resorts but I'd think almost everyone going to a Disney resort and using a shared ride service would be using ME and not Mears. They're probably going to be grouping S/D with MOWC, GP and other hotels in that area. You'll have some stops and may have to wait.

Mears has some time standard, if they don't fill up a bus they're supposed to send you out in a van, cab or half empty bus. I think it's 30 minutes but you might want to send them an email and confirm it. Bring it with you and keep track.

Not really a serious suggestion...there have been several threads from guests who want to use ME to transfer their luggage but rent a car or take a towncar. If those guests don't checkin for ME, and possibly even take the bus, the luggage will stay at MCO. All you have to do is find someone, who's staying in an EPCOT resort, in that position who is arriving around the same time as you are.
