How to get from A to B?

We are staying at the Dolphin and wanting to go eat at the Poly.
Can we walk over to Epcot and catch the monorail to the Poly without using our park passes to enter the park to get to the monorail?
What do you suggest?

Nope. If you want to use the monorail from Epcot, you'd have to us a day on your hopper to get to the monorail.

If you have a car, I would use that.

If not, I would say that the easiest way to get to the Polynesian would be to take a bus to the Magic Kingdom, and hop onto the resort monorail loop. You could then take the resort monorail back to the Magic Kingdom and take a bus back to the Dolphin.

If your priority seating is after Magic Kingdom's park closing, take a bus to Downtown Disney, transfer to a Polynesian bus.

Unfortunately, Disney transportation is NOT conducive to easily going from resort to another.
