How to get a promotional code for ATT wireless?

We are looking at switching to ATT; I think I want an iPhone and we will get much better signal than we do with Verizon. Anyways I see on their website there is a spot for a promotional code. When we have added a line on our Verizon plan if we added it online we didn't have to pay an activation fee. I think now days they would be happy enough to get our business they should wave the activation fees. Anybody know how to get a code or a deal?

I think you get like $12 if you sign up through upromise.

I have seen credits for $50 with the purchase of a qualifying phone, but the iphone is not included. I read that ATT added 1 million new lines with the recent iphone launch (enough to cause problems with oversubscription in some cities), so while you may prove to be a valuable customer, ATT is probably not that desperate for your business right now. Try going through wirefly.com. It's often much cheaper to use wirefly , they are brokers for all the big cell companies.

Sorry to say it, but there are few if any discounts to be had on the iphones. The discount codes and promotions do not apply to them. Be aware too that you will be required to purchase the $30 per month data plan for the iphone in addition to your regular rate plan for the length of a 2 year contract if you get an iphone.
