I may have asked this question a long time ago, but for the life of me I cannot remember any answers?:confused3

I am staying at the CR in Feb with my DH, and two DD's who will be 4 1/2 and 15 mos. They cannot sleep without loud white noise, and when we stayed at the CR earlier this year (without the baby) it was so silent and hard to sleep. Now next time with the little one, I am very nervous about not having constant white noise.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

We bring a white noise machine that we got at Brookstone. It can be plugged in or run off batteries. It's small and very portable. We too prefer a fan at home, but it's just not realistic (to us) to bring one along on vacation!

You can rent a box fan from A Baby's Best Friend at www.abbf.com I am thinking about doing the same thing!

Thanks so much for the replies! I am for sure going to use a baby's best friend! $12 is a great deal for 5 nights of sleeping!

Also, does anyone know if you can get a crib at CR, or is it just the pack and play. Otherwise I may have to rent a crib as well.

I love these boards! I am all for making our trips the best they can be and I couldn't do that without the helpful info from other Disers!

:cool1: What a great convenience!! DH & I are used to sleeping with a fan's white noise and I always end up packing a small portable one (about 14" square). I think I'll get a fan from these folks!!!

This sounds great, except at the bottom of the page it says there is a $50 minimum order. Yikes, that's expensive if all you want is a fan!

It is just a pack-n-play. I would definitely go with ABBF, we have used them many times and been very happy. We drive so when DD was small, we would rent a crib and stroller from them so we didn't take up so much space in the van.

If you just need the white noise, I'd go with a small machine. They're about the size of a small clock radio and have several different sound settings. Mine is by Conair and was about $20. I take it with me on all my trips. Easy to pack and will run on electrical outlet or batteries.

I agree with a white noise machine. They work very well. My sister's is smaller than a hairdryer. Hers plugs into a wall socket.
