How to get 10% discount for dining at DL?

What do i need to show to get the 10% DVC discount when we travel to DL next month?

I have never done this before!

Did we or should we have gotten some kind of card showing that we are DVC owners?

And if so, is that all we need to show, maybe a photo ID?

You will just need to show your DVC Membership card.

When you order at counter services, show them your card before you order. Or at least before they give you a total. A young girl at Blue Ribbon bakery asked me if I had an AP for a discount. I told her that I didn't but did have a DVC membership. She just gave me a blank look. She then took my membership card and swiped it like a credit card. "Is this a credit card?" It turned out that she had never heard of DVC or how to apply a discount. Maybe DVC is Disney's best kept secret..but only from 16yo Disneyland CMs.

I did have to show my ID a couple of times. No problem. Just about every food place in DL and DCA gives the discount. (Wish we got such treatment "at home") I loved it! Especially the $14 saved at Blue Bayou.
