How to find our annual dues for each DVC resort?

I'm contemplating finally buying DVC and I see a lot of discussion about certain resorts having lower annual dues. I'm sure this info is out there somewhere, but I haven't found it yet. Is there a list of the resorts and their dues? I don't have my heart set on a home resort yet, so I might as well take the dues thing into consideration. Thanks for your help!

Great -- thanks! So, is that in dollars per point? Why the difference in dues at different resorts, anyway?

Yes, $$ per point. Dues are based on the actual operating expenses at each resort. The number of owners at each resort also has a cost effectiveness since costs are shared by a larger number of points than smaller resorts (SSR, OKW and BCV are the largest resorts - VGC, HH, VB and VWL are the smallest).

Doc - thanks for posting this - we have some friends who are looking to purchase a resale - they asked me what the dues would be. I could only tell them per-point for SSR.

Is there a cap per year that Disney can raise the fees?

As in, per the contract they can only raise fees X% per year...

I believe I have read that somewhere in another post, but I cannot find it. :headache:

TIA!

Yes, the maximum increase for any given year is 15% without approval from the owners. No resort has ever approached that figure and the norm has been in the 3-4% range - and some resorts have even had a reduction in dues from one year to the next.
