How to explain "theming" to someone who only knows amusement parks?

OK guys, we're down to the wire here, and I'm counting on you. DD's friend is going with us to WDW, and she's already told DD "you can't make me go on some rides". Mind you, this girl has rode the Superman and Chaos at Six Flags (both big thrill rides). How do we explain that Disney rides aren't the same as amusement park rides? Or do we just wing it and let her figure it out for herself?

the rides have disney magic(this will work depending on age) and that she should at least try them when she sees what they are all about shell like it.

if shes done the big thril rides than she needs to do tot and rnr and btm spm

A theme park without rides is still a theme park.

An amusement park without rides is a parking lot with popcorn.

You may just want to let her experience everything cold. Disney really does speak for itself. Your joy will be watching her "get it" all on her own.

I agree with the others. It is something that you cannot explain unless you have experienced it. Before our honeymoon, my DH was not all that thrilled with going to WDW since he thought it would be just like Worlds of Fun (KC, MO). It was great to listen to him try to explain it to his family when we got back! They have no idea what they are missing! I'm thankful that he was sprinkled with pixie dust during our honeymoon and is just as excited as I am about going back!
