Hoping for advice on how you typically dress for the weather during Thanksgiving week at DLR. I see the weather for the next 10 days is mid 60's, but different climates that 60's can feel warmer or colder. And how long before it usually warms up in the morning and how quickly does it cool off in the evenings?

Are capri's and a long sleeve shirt ok or do I need to wear full length pants and sweaters??? Do we need jackets during the day? Help please! Thanks!:)

Not sure how you respond to weather, I was there very early December 2 years ago. I wore long pants, regular shoes (no sandals) and a tshirt during the day. As the sun went down, things got a little cooler and I put on a long sleeved shirt, my wife had a hoodie on (I also wore a Mickey Santa hat, pretty sure that also kept me warm). Compared to Chicago, it was pretty nice for December, but the locals were all bundled up in mittens and scarves and coats. I think that a medium weight jacket (like a fleece or something) with hat/gloves in the pockets should be more than enough to prepare you for the cold at night. Daytime should be a non-issue provided the sun is out.

Last year it warmed up really fast after the park opend so we kinda just tuffed it out in the morning. I think we wore shorts in the daytime?? DD I just layered her, I didn't want her to be cold. But once the sun was going down it got cold really really fast, so be prepared for that. I had mittens on and layers and a fleece hoodie.

I think you just have to be prepared for both semi warm weather and cold weather, but you will need some cold weather clothing for sure :)

The best answer is to dress in layers/bring a coat and get a locker- that way you can shed or add on clothing as necessary. We were just there on Saturday and that was definitely the way to go. The highs were in the low 60's with lows in the upper 40's.
