How to do seat selection on Continental?

We are booked on Singapore airlines fom Singapore to Houston and on Continental from Houston to Orlando. My seats on Singapore airlines are already assigned. May I know when and how I can select my seats on continental?

I am wondering how you booked your tickets? Through the airline website (Singapore Airlines) directly? If you used a travel agency, they should be able to request seats for you. Also, Continental Airlines merged with United Airlines and now all the flights are labeled as and are booked through United Airlines. You should be able to request seats through United Airlines, via website or phone. Good luck and have a great trip!

We booked through Singapore airlines. In this case, can I still call UA? Can I do it now for my flights on 27 Nov and 13 Dec?

Yes, I would think that you can still call UA even though you booked through Singapore Airlines. And yes, absolutely if you have reservations booked you can try to get seat assignments for Nov-Dec this year.

I am wondering if you have a 6 letter/number confirmation code for UA? If so, you could log in online to get your seat assignments. Otherwise, I would call to see if you can get them.

I am unsure how the Singapore Airlines/United codeshare works......

You need to contact Singapore Airlines and get your United confirmation number. Then you can use this to select seats on UA.

A big thank you to everyone! We got our seat assignments. UA site actually accepted our SQ booking reference. The system is pretty cool, it has our complete travel itinerary on the UA system showing our SQ details and UA details. SQ has the same. We selected SQ seats on SQ system and UA seats on UA system. The wonders of technology!
