How to do Mickey's ToonTown Morning Madness

So this may be a stupid question...but if MTTMM starts at park open, then how exactly am I to get my entire family ALL the way to ToonTown at the SAME time the park opens? This seems logicistically impossible, no??

So how exactly does this work? Would I have to use my MM, to get into the park an hour early and then head to Toontown a little before the park "officially" opens just so I can be there in time for MTTMM??

The show doesn't start for like 15-20 minutes after opening. You'll have time to make it back there.

Last time, we got there at rope drop, went on Peter Pan then got there and got a front row standing spot. The show started maybe 10 minutes later?

I though TTMM were on day opposite of MM so you wouldn't be able to use your MM to get into the park to go to TTMM anyway...

Nope, there's a day or 2 where they do overlap....everything I've read said that MTTMM started AT park opening. So I just could not imagine HOW we would get there without using up a MM. But if it really starts 20 mins or so after opening, then that's totally do-able. I just wish Disney would post this and list the accurate start time.

What exactly is MTTMM? I thought it was just entry into Toon Town one hour before it opens to everyone. What is the "show" you are mentioning?

There is a ToonTown welcoming ceremony where all of the characters come out and perform and make everybody official citizens of TT. It's really cute, and if you have kids under 5, they will probably love it! It starts about 20 minutes after they open the gates for TTMM.

We just got through the DL gate as early as possible and positioned ourselves near the rope on the right side of the castle, next to Tomorrowland. When the rope dropped, it was less than a five minute walk back to TT and we were pretty much the first ones through the TT gate. Mickey was just hanging out on the corner and DD4 was literally the first person to greet him that day. We have a great video of her hugging Mickey and it looks like the park isn't even open because it's so deserted.

The show/ceremony is just part of MTMM. Toontown is open an hour earlier than usual so the rides are open and the characters are out for autographs before the show starts. The show starts later to give everyone time to get back to toontown before it starts, but MTMM does start at park opening because it includes the rides and characters.

Ok- so this whole thing is still only open to those with MTTMM tickets, right?? When your at the rope drop, is there a CM checking for tix?

Yes. A CM at a little podium if I remember correctly taking your tickets.

They will take your ticket at the Toontown gate. The show usually starts about 20 minutes after Morning Madness starts.

Anyone know if you can still buy TTMM tickets at the WDTC store at DTD?

In 2011, they sold them as the "passport plus booklet" or the "Magical Extras" booklet. $10 each, likely per person.
