How to do day-by-day

Say I want to do July 15- 20 at HH (which I do). Do I call Dec 15 to get July 15 then keep calling daily to get each day? Do I tell them when I call that I've already got a reservation? Well, I guess they'll see that.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

For July 15, you call Dec 16. It is based on the check-out day, not check-in. When you setup the first day tell them you will be calling day-by-day and they will usually leave the ressie "open" until you finish it. That way they don't have to link the different days.

We had success last year with day-by-day at HHI, but it was mid-August when we went. Good luck - it's a GREAT resort!

You can book the 15th on Saturday the 16th, 16th and 17th on Monday, and then call day by day to book the rest of the trip. Be sure to tell MS that you will be making a reservation day by day and to hold off on sending the confirmation until you have the entire reservation set. When you call each day just tell the CM that you will be adding to an existing reservation.

I have heard that this is what you need to do for a standard view at BWV in busy times at the eleven month window. Is that true? What time can you call in the morning?

Hey Disnut! I am doing the SAME THING right now for July 8th-14th!! I have one more day to call to complete our reservation!!!

During the first call let them know that your calling in a reservation day by day and the final check out day is such in such. They will make note of it, and when you call in the other days, you just have to say, I am adding another day to my exsisting reservation... They will hold off sending you a comfirmation notice until all the days are booked.

HHI Is our favorite vacation spot. ONe of these days we might just have to buy points there! lol

if i want standard view at any time of year i book day by day at the 11th month window. same with boardwalk view, that way i am pretty much guaranteed to get it.

I have not had problems booking the entire stay at BWV in a standard view studio at the 11 month window. Much easier than calling each day but does have some risk you won't get all days -- but you know the same thing could happen if you call day by day, kind of awkward to book a week but be waitlisted for a day in the middle. Just a different perspective.
