I have to admit it-I have hit the Disney planning wall. Everytime I think I have our itinerary decided I read some new thread that changes my mind. Our trip is 9/28 to 10/05 and when I planned it I thought we were not going to experience horrible crowds BUT then there is the free dining and F&W festival. Now I am not sure about going to parks with emh and which restaurants to make ps's for.
I'm not really complaining because I can't wait to go I just do not know the best way to plan this trip. SO how do you all out there on the dis decice which park on which day and which places to eat? Also I would appreciate any advice for the dates we are going. We are Myself (36), DH(35),DS(9),DS(6),DS(1) and we are staying at Wilderness Lodge. Thanks.

We've been to the parks many times since the new MYW tickets and EMH have started. My observations from both staying on site and driving from home are these. The parks with evening EMH are more crowded than in the past when it was an e-ticket night.

When we stayed at All-star Sport, the parks with morning EMH had huge lines. For example when AK opened an hour early, I tried to get to the buses at 8am and the line for the AK bus was way past the store heading towards the food court. I ended up going through the store to another exit to the buses and just hopped on the 1st bus to somewhere else.

I'd strongly recommend getting hopper passes. That way if a park is to crowded, you can exit and go to another.

I'm sure you've read this thread: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=840615. After reading it, I set out to make my itinerary. I think this is a great idea and at this point (without October hours published) it's my best itinerary option. Of course, like you, I continue to read numerous posts with suggestions and comments regarding crowds and continue to "second guess" myself. For me, until October hours come out, I'm going to stick to this newest itinerary. I'm going to make my PS's using this itinerary and make any changes, if necessary, after October hours are published.

We're going October 4-9 and I'm wondering how crowded the parks will be between the free dining and F&W thing at Epcot. But, like you said, I'm excited about going anyway.
