How to convince?

How can I convince DM to take me to disneyland this summer. IT is the summer before my senior year.. (cry) And well I really want to go. What do you suggest? thanks

oh and did i mention that she promised me but then said no we aren't going.. Also another thing is they like to do things at the spur of the moment. yah that is all well and fine but I like to plan out in advance.

Beg and maybe cry, that always worked with my mom! Also, you might suggest that you will help pay some of the expenses, do you have a part time job that would allow that? If all else fails, turn the screws and remind them you will soon be all grown up and they will miss having their little girl around to take to Disneyland. Good luck!

Find out, nicely..no whining, what her concerns are, and then try and address them, is it money, time off work or what????? Once you know the issues then you can address them.......

so they got home and my mom said to copy something and it was folded. they were going to surprise us with a trip but i can not take surprises

If things don't turn out the way you expect, settle for what your parents plan for you and be happy about it.

Don't be too pushy. When you're old enough to earn money, you'll realize that planning a trip with kids & work isn't as easy as everyone thinks. You have to consider so many factors not just what your kids want.

LOL... I was always like that.. my parents (or dH) would want to try and suprise me with something, but I'd either figure it out, or just be in such a bad mood because I didn't think anything was happening that I got mad at them for allowing my bad mood to continue when they could have stopped it..LOL

So YAAAY for you! When do you get to go?
