Hi everyone!
I have followed the YouTube channel for a few years, lurked a small handful of times and decided to join so I could find an answer to something I've been wondering. Apologies for brevity not being my strong suit.
I booked a bounce back free dining in August 2019 for this December (2020). I've gone on solo trips the last few years but this one is the longest I've had to wait since I started doing them. To say I'm excited is a grave understatement. The problem is, it's March. December is a LONG way away. By the time I leave we will have had so many holidays it feels like we JUST had, an election (never mind that 9 months is enough time for someone to have a kid)...it seems like there's such a long way to go to get there. And it's not even close to the point of 6 months out and doing dining reservations and whatnot. I have my airfare, I'm checked in online to hotel, I've basically done everything I can but wait the proper amount of time hahaha XD.
I guess my question is, for the superfans out there, how do you...occupy your time...when you have to wait a while for a trip? There's part of me that feels like I need to calm down (because I feel like I'm ready to leave tomorrow and that mindset will be CRAZY to keep up for 9 months), but then there's part of me that doesn't know if I ever could tone it down enough to be not quite indifferent but calm, if that makes sense. SO. What do you do to pass the time in between the "there's nothing to plan" phase and the "lets start making a plan" phase - especially if you're crazy like me and have Disney on the brain constantly?
