how to change user name

I have looked all over and I know I am not finding it. I would like to change the user name and not use my few post that I have.

Sorry, that is not possible. If you want a new username you need to just reregister with the name you want and start over.

Since you have a lower post count, if you really want to change it, I would change it now and not wait too long.

If you really want to change your username, you need to register with a new account. You can't change your username directly because it's not possible.

The good news is, since search is enabled again, you will always be able to find the posts you made with the old user name by using Advanced Search. So even though they won't be linked to your account any more, you'll always be able to find them.
