How to book your next trip while @WDW?

I would like to book our next trip to the world while I'm at WDW on the 1st of May. Would you go to guest relations at the hotel onsite? Use the phone in our room at the WL? Should we ask the front desk about comeback rates or if they are even offered yet? We will be going back in Aug. and it looks like they might be releasing the AP rates while we are down there. Sorry if this seems dumb. Thanks for any help.

We have done a couple of those things you list - we used our phone once from our room and we have also gone down to guest relations (they didn't actually make the ressie but called the ressie people). I would most certainly ask for comeback rates!

Although I know while I am on vacation at the World the date I will be returning, I never considered making a reservation while on the property...Badger Brent: what is the term "comeback rate" mean...is that a special rate for people who make new ressies while on vacation...

The Comeback rate was a pretty common thing to get you to book you next trip before you left WDW property. I haven't heard much of it lately, but it wouldn't hurt to ask I guess.
