Next year we want to stay at AKV - concierge with our best friends and their kids. We need two one bedroom villas...I understand there are not a lot of them to go around. When I call at the 11 month mark..how do I proceed? Do I state right away that I need both villas for two families? Does one room have to be processed before the second? I'm so afraid of not being able to snag both. What is the normal process? Thanks!

Just call and ask for the reservation.
I called and reserved three rooms for Christmas Week.
There were no problems.
If the rooms are available and you have the points they are yours.:)

I do think that you can say you want two one bedrooms but one has to be processed before the other. I do not think MS can place a hold on the second while making the first.

I would stagger our check in days, with us arriving a day before our friends. That way you're only booking one a day, no wait.

There are only five 2BR lockoffs so at most there are five 1BR villas, but possibly only four or even three depending on how many of those lockoffs are rented as 2BRs. It's going to be difficult to book two of them since they can't hold the second one while they book the first. Just go for it and hope for the best!

One trick to save a little bit of time is to only list 1 name on the reservation for the first room. It will save a couple of minutes in getting to start the reservation for the second room. This is only worth doing for real high demand rooms. You will then need to add the additional names to reservations at a later date.

We called for a 2 bedroom AKV Concierge at 11 months. The inventory was confirmed but by the time the Advisor did her thing, 2 of our three days were gone. :sad2:

Book a 2 bedroom first. Then if you get it, book a 1 bedroom and cancel the 2 bedroom and book the second 1 bedroom. At any rate. I think you are going to need at least a TON of pixie dust to pull this one off anyway! Is it at all possible for you to all stay in a 2 bedroom?

The other problem is that the first day you call there may not be any rooms available if the rooms were booked up by someone else a day or two before you call. The time of the year you are trying for could also make a big difference.

I agree that this will take a lot of pixie dust! pixiedust:
