How to book more than 7 nights at DVC resort?

Hi,

In the past I've just called MS each day after I booked my 7 nights to add one day at a time. Instead of calling, can I add one day at a time on line?

The advantage of calling MS is that you can add one day at a time at 7 months + 7 days. If you want to grab a day at a time online, you have to wait until you are 7 months from each additional day. That would mean waiting 7 more days to book the 8th day, and so on. Certain times of year, it could mean missing out on the additional days if someone calls and snags that night as part of their trip while you are waiting the full 7 days to grab it online. For some resorts it may not be a big risk to wait during most of the year.

You can't modify a reservation on-line, you can only cancel all nights or add (and pay for) a dining plan.

If you try to add a day on-line, you would have to book a one night reservation. By doing this, you will end up with multiple consecutive reservations. You would then need to contact MS and have them consolidated into a single reservation to prevent you from needed to checkout and then back in between each segment.

You are much better off calling MS and have them modify the check-out date to extend your reservation (subject to availability).
