How to book additional FPs after the first 3?

The last time we went, we had to visit the kiosk to get additional FPs. Am I correct in that you can now do that from the app? How does that work? After we use our 3rd FP, I can get on the app and look for additional FPs? I want to make sure I don't waste any time. Most of our FPs are done before we leave for our mid-day breaks, so we'd love to snag an extra for the evenings when we come back!

Yes. Use the app, tap "+" and follow the prompts to book an additional FP. After that FP is used, repeat the booking steps and so on.

And can that additional 4th FP via the app be at a different park?
I feel like I read that at some point, but maybe it was just a trial?

Yes, 4th from the app can be at any park. Actually, if you've booked less than 3, you can use the app to book for a different park after using FP #1.

hmmm ... so this kinda changes my strategy.
On our Epcot day, we are only interested in a Test Track FP.
So I could secure that one in advance (let's say 9 am to 10 am) and then once we rode TT (let's say we were done by 9:20), we could grab some available FP at MK for after-dinner touring?
I don't need to secure two "sham" FP and let them expire?
I was thinking that was the case and then - using the time scenarios above - we would not be able to grab the 4th until 12 pm when the third window expires.
hmm ... of course, we are there during Thanksgiving week so crowds will be insane, but there really is nothing in Tier 2 at Epcot my family is interested in (world showcase and agent P missions are our focus this trip!)

@Delilah1310 ~ yes, only book TT and as soon as you TAP the FP tapstile, go on your app and search for your next park! Book 2 FPs for Park #2!!

After you complete your initial 3, then you'll book one by one in Park #2.
