Hi,

I'm looking for some great tips on how to make the most of our time during the fireworks and Fantasmic shows on the nights we will NOT be watching those shows. Are there any rides or attractions that you can sneak right on because so many people are watching the shows? Are there any to avoid during that time?

Thanks!:flower3:

What are the dates you're going?

It might be a good time to check Nemo wait times. Also maybe a good time to hop over to DCA (if it's still open) and check on TSMM lines. I have heard that Storybook Land Canal boats are awesome if you can manage to ride DURING fireworks. They stop the boat and the fireworks are practically right overhead. Ditto for Splash Mountain, BTMRR and Matterhorn; they can afford great glimpses as you ride. You might see somewhat shorter lines during the entertainment. Not always, though.

I have heard that the rides in NOS are not good because the area is already packed with F! viewers. It's hard to get around, that I can attest to!

We'll be there August 4, 5, 6. DCA closes at 9:00 those nights, otherwise we'd definitely try TSMM during that time. I never would have thought of the canal boats -- I like that idea! We plan to stake out a spot to watch F! and fireworks one of the nights, but figured we'd just try to take advantage of any possible lulls during that time on the other nights.

I'm also thinking anything in Tomorrowland will be away from the main firework and F! action, but probably someone here with more experience can help more.

A couple of years ago we hit up all of the adventureland, frontierland, and New Orleans rides. It was pretty great because we got on EVERY ride within 15-20 minutes. Also, we got on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and right when we made the big climb up out of the tunnel, the fireworks finale hit and we got to see it at such a high place! it was perfect because it happened right when we finished the high point, then we went down for the rest of the ride. It was soo fun. Its one of my favorite moments at DLR because it was like magic :goodvibes
