how to best spend days without tickets, 1st trip

I have a better idea of how the ticket system works now as well as some great ideas for our non park days. Thanks Everyone!! Having to move our original vacation dates back a week, allowed us to stay 2 nights longer, with less crowded conditions and the opportunity to go to MVMCP!!! :woohoo: I'm so excited!! In the meantime, I have to get over this Disney obsession, there is so much I need to be doing. And I'm sure the family is tired of hearing about it. :confused3 I can't imagine why. Everyday I have some new information to share with everyone.

I have another suggestion. Since you are driving and don't need Magical Express, what about saving even more $$ and staying off-site for your first 3 days? You can do some non-Disney stuff: Sea World, the Kennedy Space Center, visit a Beach (I would recommend the Gulf Coast), etc. I know that if I were IN WALT DISNEY WORLD I would want to go to the parks but if I were off-site I could hold out easier. You could book the Seralago Hotel and Suites for only $79 per night. You can go here: to check rates through Dreams Unlimited: http://www.dreamsunlimitedtravel.com/dreamsres/index.htm

If you think you may want to stay off-site, I would recommend the Orlando Board or Budget Board for more help :).
