How to beat CHAFING

Since I last posted we went to WDW. I bought a spray can of suave deo. It worked very well! No problems for hubby nor myself. We also used it on our feet, along with the kids. I just sprayed the tops and bottoms and none of us got blisters or chafing. Best of all it was cheap and easy!

I do double duty on the feet - spray deo AND powder. Then midday, change the socks and add more powder!!!! Works fine.

Very good stuff to know about the chafing. I have that happen all the time in the summer and it is horrible!!!!!

My thighs tend to rub..so I use regular lotion on them and never had any trouble since then. I use Vaseline Intensive Care lotion and it works great..an easy fix.

My DH is allergic to Gold Bond too...

Bag Balm or as we jokingly call it "Utter Butter". It used to only be sold at tractor supply type store's. It can now be bought at a lot of drug store's. My best friends doctor clued her in on this stuff and it's wonderfull. Looks and feels like vaseline. Medicated so it also heals the skin. No smell and doesn't leave a stain on your clothing. I think drugstore.com may also carry this stuff. Susan

I was gonna tell ya'll about Boudreaux Butt Paste, but I see that two others beat me to it. That stuff is GREAT!!!!!! We use it for lots of things. It has a MUCH more pleasant smell than Desitin, and from my family's experience, it really works better!!!
