Does anyone know who I can write to to ask (beg) if my future husband can be master of ceremonies during our stay? I'd love it if he got a chance to be in the spotlight while we're there, since on the wedding day I'll be the main center of attention. He really deserves it since he's been working so hard to save money for this honeymoon. I realize that my request is not likely to work, but I'd like to try anyway. Any suggestions?

Master of Ceremonies for what, exactly?

If you're talking about Grand Marshall of the parade, there really isn't any way to force it. There are CMs (or at least one CM) who's sole job it is to find a family to serve as Grand Marshall for the parade. You cannot seek out this CM--rather he/she will typically talk to a few families randomly and end up asking someone if they would like to appear in the parade.

There are other things you can do to try and get your hubbie in the spotlight:

- The backlot tour at MGM needs 4-5 people to serve as on-camera volunteers for each show. My wife and I did this on our honeymoon. If you arrive for the show and find a group of people already in the queue, try waiting for the next show. The CM at the gate usually just asks the people in the front if they want to participate.

- The Indiana Jones show makes use of a number of volunteers from the audience. Only problem here is that you really need to jump around like an idiot when they ask for volunteers. So, you can't force your husband into this one.

I'm sure there are others, but those are the ones I can think of at the moment.
