How to add special diet requests after making an ADR?

Our trip is in two days!! Unfortunately, my mom has recently been put back on a special diet (soft foods, and liquids). The problem is, I've already made dining reservations and didn't put that there was any special diet requests... Is there any way I can go back and add those? I can't seem to figure out how to do that on My Disney Experience... Also, if we are going to Ohana and Liberty Tree Tavern, is dinner strictly family style? Or can my mom order something else that fits in her diet needs? Thanks!

I don't know about doing it online or through MDE, but I would call and have a CM note it on the ADRs.

The Disney Food Blog also has info about Special Diets, including a phone number and/or email to contact that department.

Even if you call and add the information to your reservations, when you are at the restaurant, remind your server. The chef will come out and talk with your Mother.

For the family style dinners they don't usually have any other menu to offer. Ohana will offer a kids menu but the only soft thing would be mac and cheese. At LTT I think she'd basically get mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. I'm sure they would puree the other foods in a blender if she wanted. Making a milk shake would be easy both places. The bad thing though is she will still usually be charged the full amount. If you get a nice chef they sometimes can make something else but it really depends.
