How to add extra day ticket?

I have a quick question I was wondering if someone has the answer to? We are going to Disney in December for 7 nights but I originally booked a 5 day ticket plan because we have other plans for one of those days. Now I am thinking of adding a extra day for tickets in case we get some free time, We can hit one of the parks again for a few hours. Before I call, how much trouble is it to add another day (meaning -- do I have to redo my reservation) or can I just add another day to my tickets when I check in??

Has anyone ever had to do this before? :confused3
Just wondering how it would be best to do this.

:) Thanks in advance for any advice :wave2:

Don't add it until you get down there.

It can be added at anytime until the ticket is used up (all days) or the 14 days from first use in it's and expiry.

You can do this at any Ticket or I think GS location.

I actually just called myself today to ask about adding one mroe day to my ticket, just realized my BF got us 6 days instead of 7. I got all the same info as above plus the woman told me we can also add at the front desk of the hotel. :)

The phrase which I bolded above is not correct.

Even if you have used all the entitlements on the ticket, it can still be upgraded to add additional days or other options as long as it is within the 14 days. However, adding more days will not change the expiration date of the ticket.

I have seen people who realized that could use an additional day and I have been able to add a day to their ticket even though they had already used all their entries but were within the 14 day period. They only had to pay for the extra day at the incremental price.

Thanks I will keep that in mind. for those asking in the future.
