How to add excursions to your favorites

Hi. I've never been on a disney cruise before (or any cruise!) and was hoping someone can clarify for me. I paid off the rest of my cruise last Friday. When do I know that Disney has gotten the money? My reservation page looks the same as it did months ago.

Also, I had heard you could add excursions and such to a favorites list, so you didn't have to go through the whole list when it comes time to add activities. Again, my reservations page looks the same, and any time I try to click on the link to view or add activities, it takes me back to my reservations page.

You all are so knowledgeable when it comes to Disney, I thought I'd ask here first before attempting to call.

When you go to your reservation, click on "View Details". That takes you to a page showing the costs and how much in payments (total) you have made. I don't think there's anywhere to see specific payments.

The "favorites" option may be one of the items that bit the dust when DCL changed their website (a lot of past options did). Your specific excursions won't be visible to you until your Paid In Full Date. At least that was my experience. You can look up general information as to what sorts of excursions are typically available on specific itineraries, but not the ones on your specific cruise.

Thanks for the information. Since I didn't pay through Disney, I'm wondering if that's why I have no information on the "View details" page regarding money. I'll check with my TA to make sure the payment went through.

My paid in full date is 2/7/16, so I guess I'll just wait a few more days and see if the activities come up!

Your excursions will be available to you once your excursion booking window opens. This varies, dependent on your Castaway Club level:
Platinum/Concierge - 120 days out
Gold - 105 days out
Silver - 90 days out
First time cruiser - 75 days out

I thought you'd at least be able to see which activities are available for your cruise time. Not make the reservations, but at least look and get ideas of what you'd want to do.

You can see what sorts of excursion are generally available for your particular itinerary by hovering over the "Things to do" tab on the DCL website, then click on "Port Adventures". Then scroll down to whatever your particular itinerary is (Alaska, Bahamas, Caribbean, etc). Click on the text area of that itinerary, and the list of excursions comes up. You can then refine what ports you are interested in by using the pull down menu on the top left "Ports of Call".

But not all of those activities are necessarily available, right? So, should probably have some backups, just in case. :)
