How to access RCI points that came with a resale DVC contract?

Our resale contract is finally showing up on the DVC site and the points are there. This particular contract also had some points that had been put in RCI by the pervious owners, and they expire in December. We were thinking of using them for a quick get-away this summer before they expire, but I don't know how to find them. Anyone have any input?

That's a situation I have not been in, however if you go to the DVC website then "Planning a Vacation" and scroll down to "How to Book RCI" and click through that you might find something.

We did use RCI last summer but it was on "cash" so no points involved. Definitely read the reviews in multiple places as we were disappointed. Good luck!
