I was just wondering how tight the security is now-a-days at WDW...any info? Thanks!

When I was there in December, they were still making you go through security checkpoints looking in your bags etc.. that is all I saw.

Yeah, I think the security checkpoints (bag checks) are still being used at all the parks. Other than that, I really haven't noticed any huge changes in security. (Of course, Disney does a good job of disguising the security guys so as not to "spoil the magic".)

I was pleasantly surprised with the security checks. There was never more that 2-3 people in front of us. They were not checking very thoroughly at all. Most of the time they just look in and wave you by. They check bags prior to ticket entry, so there's no hold up once you get past there, you can get right in.

I did notice that getting into Pop Century (and I assume all hotels) you do have to stop at the gate if you do not have a parking pass for your vehicle. They look your name up in the computer to verify you are a resort guest. Never had that before.
