I hear such good things about it - that i want to try it out. I dont like coasters ... basically I hate the "drop" sensation in my stomach. I also sometimes get motion sick but I think i am going to try bonine or some other non drowsy options.
I am also debating if I want to try and go on Tron. Anyone that was borderline - went on either of these and regretted it?

So I am now sad that I suffer motion sickness,,,sucks getting old.....But will still try once all rides ,,,pig headed...GOTG,,,a solid no go anymore for me,,the screens and turning do me in,,very good ride....Tron is short,,,common complait by some,,,but good for me since it stops just as I am on the brink,,,but 1 ride per trip is all I do.

I feel like I would not call guardians ride thrilling. I would call it exciting.

I mean, don’t get me wrong…. The ride itself is thrilling but as far as roller coasters go, it’s not intense, in my opinion, like rock n roller coaster, or the Hulk ride, etc..are intense.

Guardians doesn't have any big drops and neither does Tron. I hate roller coasters but I could ride Guardians all day long. Tron is too short but is still a fun ride too.

I haven't tried Guardians due to motion sickness, but my daughter does not like thrilling rides and loves Tron. (As an example, Hagrid is the upper limit of her thrill tolerance - she rides it for me but finds it a bit much).

Guardians is elite. Everyone who thinks they can maybe possibly handle it, should try it! (IMO.) I have always loved coasters of all kinds, but I have developed motion sickness post-40. The first time I rode Guardians - age 41? - I got off the ride shaking (those stairs upon exit are a cruel joke, LOL) and I could barely eat my dinner afterwards.

Since then I take non-drowsy dramamine (meclazine) and I'm good to go. Two other tips: don't ride on an empty stomach, and don't look around during the ride. Just look straight ahead according to where your cart is pointing you. There are so many cool things to see, so it is tempting to turn your head and look around! Just don't. :)

I don't really have any issues on Tron. It's fast and short. Exciting, but nothing that turns me really green.

My sister get motion sickness and wanted to try Guardians so badly. Unfortunately it ruined her day and needed to go back to the resort. Rides don’t usually bother my DH but he can’t handle the spinning with combination of the screens. I think I get a tad sick on it as well, but I LOVE it so much I power thru. I think the excitement overpowers the nausea. It truly is the best ride I’ve even been on.
So if you really want to try it and not sure how you’d feel I’d say take some Dramamine first so you enjoy the rest of your day. Good luck!

This strategy is exactly what my DH does!!

I don’t like the drop on coasters either. I LOVE Tron, yes it’s short but so much fun. Guardians is a tough one for me. No big drops but the spinning can be disorienting. I have found that the front car mitigates that. No one wants the front car so they gladly give it to us!
