how the world has changed!

Over the weekend I was watching TVLand.

I happened to catch a few minutes of Flip Wilson, in his "Geraldine" outfit, doing a "bit" with Mohammend Ali.

in the middle of the routine, flip's purse started to ring, and he pulled out a princess phone and started to talk to Killer.

and he said something along the lines of "and this fool really believes I can talk on a phone in my purse..."

wow, how times have changed.

I watched a few episodes of the marathon--I always loved Flip Wilson.

I loved seeing the bits with Bill Cosby. DS (14 YO) thought "The Hippy Dippy Weatherman" (George Carlin) was the funniest thing he's ever seen.

Yes the world has changed. I think technology has improved but everything else is on the decline as we draw near the end times.

We watched some of the marathon this weekend. So great to see all of the guest stars, as well as Flip Wilson!
