How stupid can you be?!?! - vent

So I am sitting here at my desk when I hear the fax machine printing page after page. I go out and it's the paper work that I have been looking for. Yea!!! All 42 pages of it.

I grab it and as I getting back in my office, the receptionist beeps me and asks if I got my fax. Wondering why she would be asking about it, she shouldn't have had any idea I was getting it, I told her that I did have it. She asked me to verify that I got all the pages, because she thinks that a couple of pages stuck together when she faxed it DOWNSTAIRS to me.

I looked at the number on top and sure enough, the fax came from the upstairs fax number. Instead of calling me and telling me that the fax was upstairs, she just refaxed the FORTY-TWO PAGES to the downstairs fax machine!!!

It took her the same amount of effort to call and ask if I got the fax, as it would have taken to call and tell me that the fax is upstairs, so that I could walk up there and get it myself.

Unbelievably lazy and wasteful!!

Yea I know it's April 1st and it wan't a prank. She's just that lazy!! Like Georgina said, it's a waste of paper and ink.

Ohhh, that's too bad. As a prank it could have been worth a smile but dopey is never ever funny. Poor thing. Think of it this way, at least you don't have to live with her. Anytime I come across someone that works my nerves that's what I tell myself, and it usually lifts my mood.

If it were something really important, personal or private - I would make sure I knew where the "original" she faxed ended up as well.
