We are going on the 8/31 Western Magic and my kids both really want to do stringray city. My daughter will be 7 but my son will only be 4 - will they let him go if both DH and I both go and he wears a life jacket. The list Michelle posted says 6 years old.

I really want to go as well but if they wont let him go - I will be forced to stay on board in Grand Cayman while DH and DD do stringray city. I wouldnt think of leaving him on the ship alone in The Oceaneers Club while the 3 of us did it - just for fear that if something happened he would be all alone

I know I sound paranoid but thats me!!

Since most of the excursions are only offered by Disney - but are done by outside vendors, I would see if you could contact them directly. I know I have read somewhere that Disney's age limit was ? but when the person called the excursion they were allowed. I think it was the Atlantis sub. So call them direct too!

Also leaving him in the kid's club is not a terrible thing. We left both kids in the kids club when we were in port on our cruise.

I appreciate your responses - the idea with the 2 excursions that kinda overlap seemed appealing until I read the description in that you only spend 15 minutes at Stringray city Thats kinda a waste. ... My daughter wants to get in the water with them so that wont work.. I will probably just go with her on the excursion that stays there for 45 minutes and you can snorkle with them and DH will stay on the ship with my son. Hopefully there will be a family excursion we can all do together in Cozumel.,

I realize that many people leave their kids in the clubs while in Port but there is NO WAY I could leave my son for several hours all alone. I just wouldnt enjoy myself knowing if something happened to him or to us that he would be all alone. Thats just my feeling Im sure others have their own opinions.

We will be on that cruise as well! We will do the scuba excursion on both Caymen and cozumel (we are divers!) Our boys will stay on board while we dive....I trust them with Disney : )
They are however 9 and 11 , a bit older than your baby!
My 11 yo is upset he cannot dive with us. Age limit is 12.
He dove in a bubble program in Akumal two years ago, we will do our dives and go back to the boat and grag the boys for some snorkeling.......does anyone know the times for these excursions????:bounce:
