How soon can I Use banked Points ?

I'm waiting on Disney to send me my Welcome Home email and am very new to DVC. I have a February use year and am planning to go March of next year. So my plan for that trip is to bank whatever points we have coming in and use it for March 2023 trip. When I Bank my points can I use them right away to book that 2023 trip or is it a longer process?

Yes, immediately.

It’s right away. Sometimes you can even bank in the reservation screen! When it asks you to select your contracts, there might be a button to click to bank current year points.

I don’t recommend doing this but I did get curious and try it. Worked fine.
