You're leaving today or next saturday? Either way you can still get it. If you're leaving today call on your cell phone and order it and arrange to pick it up at Guest Services at Epcot. If you're leaving next week fax it in and then arrange to pick it up at Guest services.

I have a related question. You need to have an activated annual pass to order the DDE card right? I am planning on upgrading my MYW tickets to an AP next month, so I won't have an active AP until my first night there. I'm figuring that since I'm on free dining and I am solo that I will just forgo the discount card this time around and save it until my next trip. Does that logic sound correct?

You can pick it up on the weekends. When they confirm your order they tell you to let them know if you need to pick it up on a weekend and they will arrange to have it waiting for you. I picked mine up on a Saturday afternoon.
No you can't you have to call or fax or mail for your DDE card. You cannot buy them at Disney. You either will need your AP number or your AP voucher number.
