How soon can I buy Tickets?

I am a dvc member so I book room only using points. I typically buy my tickets a couple months before I arrive or the day I arrive. My next trip is scheduled in January 2015, and it will be the first trip that my baby is no longer considered a baby... Yikes!!!! I can't believe my daughter will be turning 3 this summer!! Anyway back on topic, since we will now be paying for her tickets and meals I wanted to make it easy on myself by buying our tickets now while we have the cash and then spend the rest of the year saving for food and souvenirs. If I purchase them now will they still be good to use by January? I know that once you step foot into the park the first time you need to use up your tickets within 14 days. I just want to make sure that I'm not restricted to a use by this date or you're out of luck type deal. I feel like the option wouldn't be on MDE to add tickets for my upcoming trip if they were going to expire beforehand. So? What's the verdict? Is it safe for me to purchase my tickets now?

Yes, you can buy your tickets now and they're good until they're activated.

Yep I understand it the same way. You can buy them now and use them within 14 days (except for non-expiry tickets) of first use. But as long as you don't use (activate) them then they are good till you do.
