how should I word it?

I just called to book a visit with my 40% mailer.
I asked the cm if I could get 40% off dining and passes ( I know the card says no-but other dis'ers say yes), and he said yes he knew how to do it (???) but quoted me $1798 for 7 nights at a value, during value season, with ddp, and passes w/ hoppers. WHAT !!!
It just doesn't add up to me. When I questioned him about the 40% off, he said it doesn't apply to ddp and passes.
So, I ask, HOW can I ask a CM if they know how to do this before going thru all the pricing stuff.
What specific should I ask them?

The 40% off applies to room only, regardless of what other posters may be telling you. You can apply it to a package with dining and tickets, but the 40% off will still only apply to the room portion of the package. Others who have been posting otherwise have either had uninformed CMs or were unclear as to the individual pricing of the package. The best you are going to get is 40% off the room, unless free dining is announced. Then, the value resorts, and perhaps moderate resorts (depending on the number of guests in the room) will be the better deal. 40% will be your best savings off of a deluxe resort. Sorry!
